adopt older waiting kids

I know that most people who adopt want to adopt a baby. Sadly, it's hard to make sure you are adopting a baby that was not bought or stolen. I think the only answer is to adopt waiting children (many of them are older, with special needs). We have adopted 3 times. All our children had waited for awhile. I have peace they were not stolen or trafficked. I could not imagine how awful it would be for a family to have their baby taken from them. But the adoption communities need for babies helps fuel this practice. Our good intentions could lead to an awful nightmare for a birth family. We should consider older waiting children first.
