6 years ago today I met my daughter Sarah in Nanjing China . It was a hard road to normal (she had
reactive attachment disorder). Today she feels safe and loved. She is attached and we are so blessed. She
was my pearl of great price. I am a very
happy mom to have such a wonderful and beautiful Chinese girl.

waiting
This week, 7 years ago I saw Sarah's picture on a waiting
list. Millions of children all over the
world are waiting to be found by a family.
Don’t just think about adoption.
Take a step out of that boat…walk on the water. They are waiting for you to come bring them
home.

tea for two

Easter is a few weeks away. My friend Jodi is going to China to bring home 2 little boys. This is their 6th adoption. And as many of my friends know International adoption is not cheap. So I decided to make some good use of my time while I’m waiting for the spring to come. I want to raise some money for Jodie’s adoptions. Today I was shopping with my daughter Jessica. We found these really cute tea wands that are flowers. I’m giving away 2 tea wands, 2 types of tea, good German Chocolate, and good Belgian chocolate, 6 egg covers, and many other fun Easter time decorations. All specialties from Germany. If you want a chance to win this German Tea for Two package then donate $10 or more towards Jodie’s adoption. In 2 weeks we will draw a winning name. I’ll Fed-x the package from Germany immediately to the winner. You’ll get it in plenty of time to enjoy it for Easter. And even if you don’t win, you’re helping two Chinese boys come home to a loving forever family. Feel free to share this give away to all your friends. And follow Jodi’s trip to China on her blog. Donation information can be found on the side bar of her blog. Thank you for your help!

National adoption month
It's National adoption month in the USA. Maybe you could change the world for one child? This is the first picture I ever saw of Sarah. She was catching butterflies. Today Sarah is 9 years old and in the 3rd grade. She is an awesome kid. And no, it was not easy, but it was one of the best things I've ever done. And I hope you at least think of doing it too. Too many children wait for families, why don't you do what you can do...adopt or help someone else adopt.
