I took this off another blog but I'm sure they would not mind

orphans worldwide.

children that go through
America's foster care system
each year.
*More than 33% of Americans have
considered adoption, no more
than 2% have actually adopted.
*In 2001, nearly 159 million
Americans identified themselves
as Christians. Only 127,000
adoptions took place. Nearly 50%
of those were stepparent adoptions
leaving approximately 142,873,000 children still needing families.
