Happy Mother's day

This morning at breakfast I got a stack of cool hand made cards and drawings from my kids. Actually, Jess did not give me anything That's kind of sad because I usually get a pretty good story from her (she's 17 years old and a great writer). Last year Thomas did not give me anything. This year he wrote me a card with his left hand in cursive (he is right handed). Funny! I have a very good friend waiting for her first child from Ethiopia. Hopefully she will be blessed with twins. They say good things come to those who wait. I know how it feels to wait for a child when you have only a dream! Here is a picture of my wonderful Mom with Sarah in China. I waited 10 years to adopt my girl after I had a dream. It was longer then 10 years, maybe even 20 years! And when I got Sarah she rejected me for 9 more months. I'm so glad my Mom was there to help bridge the gap. I could never have done it without her! Thank you Mom! I love you!!!
