a brother and sister waiting

I get the news from Second Chance Waiting Children. They specialize in disrupted adoptions. They now have a beautiful set of kids (a sister and brother) from Ethiopia. They need a new placement. It's very sad for the adoptive family, but a chance for another family. You can read about adopting this 5 and 3 year old here. They are healthy, just having adjustment issues. I don't want to down play how hard attachment can be. I've been through it myself...and lived.
